“The warmth and generosity of the ensemble is its greatest strength… Off to Moruya is a charming album…robust, assured and friendly.
Get along and check it out.”

Timothy Stevens, MCA Forum magazine.

News

Unexpectedly 2008 is shaping up to be a busy year for the band, with the release of a new album scheduled for July and a short Tasmanian and Victorian tour.

Pianist Matt Boden is returning briefly from his new home in Paris, France so we’re celebrating by doing a few choice gigs.  Joining us for these shows will be Julian Banks on tenor and soprano saxophone, and with Eamon McNelis (trumpet) off to Europe with the ‘Hoodangers’ we’ll be playing as a quartet.

Also you can catch very special guest Dale Gorfinkel on vibraphone for the 303 and ‘Spot’ gigs.

So look out for the new album and catch you at a show soon!
